Terms of sale
1. Who sells
The store is run by Adam Kulig, a private individual selling under Polish law. Contact: [email protected]. Prices are in US dollars and no VAT is charged.
2. What you buy
You buy a licence to use the software shown on the product page, not the software itself. All rights to it stay with the seller. A licence covers one panel installation and is tied to that server's address, which we change on request on Discord. Each build is marked with the licence it was made for.
You must be at least 16 to buy. If you are under 18, you need the agreement of a parent or guardian.
3. Licence periods
- Lifetime licences have no end date for as long as the product is offered.
- Timed licences (for example 6 months or 1 year) last for the period bought. They do not renew automatically; renewing is a new one-off payment, added to the end of the current period.
- When a timed licence ends you can no longer download updates or install the product, and features that depend on our servers stop working until you renew.
- If a payment is refunded or successfully disputed, the licence for that order ends.
New features come at our discretion. Consumers still receive the updates, including security updates, needed to keep the product working as described for as long as they can reasonably expect. We aim to stay compatible with new Pterodactyl releases but cannot guarantee it for every future version of third-party software.
4. Payment and delivery
Payments are handled by Stripe. The licence appears in your account right after the payment is confirmed. By ticking the box before paying, you ask for immediate delivery and accept that you lose the right of withdrawal once it starts. See the refund policy.
5. What you may not do
You may not share, resell or publish the software, your licence key or a build made for your licence, remove the licence checks, or use one licence on several panels. We may suspend a licence that breaks these rules, and one whose payment is disputed or charged back while the dispute is open.
6. Requirements and support
Products bought on BuiltByBit stay under that marketplace's own terms and refund rules. Requirements are listed on each product page. Support is given on our Discord on a best-effort basis. Some features rely on third parties, such as Modrinth, CurseForge or the Minecraft server software, which can change without notice.
7. Complaints and liability
If you are a consumer, you have the legal rights for digital content that does not conform to the contract. Send complaints to the email above; we answer within 14 days. To the extent the law allows, the software is provided as it is and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the licence. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law, and consumers keep the protection of the mandatory law of their country of residence.
8. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms for future purchases; the terms in force when you bought apply to that purchase. Polish law applies. Consumers may also use out-of-court help, such as a local consumer ombudsman.
